Thượng đế
The draw for the Carling Cup fourth round was completed today at 12:15, and Tottenham were drawn at home to David Moyes Everton side. Everton are regarded as one of the better teams in the Premier League, however they have made a poor start to the 2009/2010 season and currently lie 13th in the table, ama sing a paltry 6 points from 5 games.Neverthele s, the Merseyside outfit will still give Tottenham a good, competitive game, as Harry Redknapp looks to lead Spurs to their third Carling Cup final in as many seasons. In truth, Everton were probably one of the harder teams in the draw, but considering the big four and Moneybags City were all in the pot, we didnt do too badly. The stand out tie of the round is undoubtedly Arsenal v Dion Waiters Jersey Liverpool, whilst Chelsea were rather fortuitous to get a home match against struggling Bolton. The fact that we were drawn at home will obviously be a big advantage. Everton are a good side and, despite their poor start, have a wealth of talent in their squad. They demolished Hull 4-0 to progre s to the fourth round and po se s a number of dangerous players we shall have to watch out for: Steven Pienaar, Yakubu and Mikel Arteta being just three. So far Moyes has fielded a relatively strong side in Evertons previous Carling Cup encounters this season, whilst Harry Redknapp has played more reserves then first teamers. Cup football has always been part of the Tottenham heritage however, so expect to see a strong Spurs squad line up against the Toffees.Expect first team regulars like Palacios and Lennon to startThe full Carling Cup draw:Blackburn RoversvPeterborough UnitedManchester CityvScunthorpe UnitedTottenham HotspurvEvertonBarnsleyvManchester UnitedChelseavBolton WanderersSunderlandvAston VillaArsenalvLiverpoolPortsmouthvStoke CityHighlights from the third round (including our 5-1 win against Preston) can be watched on the
