Pippo Inzaghi was not in the list Donadoni chose for the provisional Euro 08 squad and his reactions were not nice. After netting a fabulous ten goals in his last seven games, many were those saying that Donadoni would choose Inzaghi over Ca sano but Donadoni preferred a younger Ca sano than soon going 35 years old Inzaghi. He might be a hell of an opportunistic player who nets nearly each ball that comes in his feet when at goalmouth but Donadoni deemed him surplus to his requirements. Genoa striker Paul Reed Jersey Borriello has not been playing at top form lately and one could also say that Inzaghi might have been a better choice instead of Borriello, third in the Capocannoniere list of the Serie A.Evidently my injury was enough to mean that I didnt even deserve a phone call and to cancel out what I thought was a mature, adult relationship, stated a bitter Inzaghi, who did then go on to say that he hoped Italy would still do well without him. Yet this could mean that Inzaghi may never wear the Azzuri shirt once again .I am disappointed to have been left out, but I sincerely wish all the best to the Azzurri for the European Championship.
